Power BI is a business analytics service by Microsoft. It aims to provide interactive visualizations and business intelligence capabilities with an interface simple enough for end-users to create their own reports and dashboards. It is part of the Microsoft Power Platform.

Let get started…

  1. Open PowerBI and load the dataset.

2. You can view your data in tabular form by clicking the Data icon.

This blog is about how to build a simple dashboard using PowerBI.

For this tutorial, we use Telecom Churn Dataset

Here I going to list out some columns which are in the dataset.

  1. State: string
  2. Account length: integer
  3. Area code: integer
  4. International plan: string
  5. Total night calls: integer
  6. Total night charge: double etc…

Here I going to show some steps to create a dashboard using powerBI.

  1. Load the dataset using get data.

2. After successfully adding your dataset go to your dataset and add some visuals.
